“I did all of my reservations through a US operator, only to realise on arrival that I had made the wrong decision. Overpaying was the least of my problems. Then I found LIME. I'll never hire anyone else.”

LIME Travel
Premium and luxury travel in East & Southern Africa, designed by people who know the destinations first hand.
Most African travel is sold by people who have read about it. We have lived in Cape Town and Durban and travelled the continent extensively — not on familiarisation trips, but running programmes.
It means we can tell you which lodge is worth its rate and which is trading on a reputation it earned five years ago. Which reserve is quiet in November.
Where the game viewing is genuinely better, and where it is merely closer to the airstrip.
Tell us what you want to spend and we will tell you honestly what it buys — where spending a little more genuinely changes the trip, and where it changes nothing but the invoice.
We work across four-star, five-star and luxury properties, so we are not steering you toward one price point. Some four-star lodges sit in better game areas than places charging three times as much. Knowing where that is true is most of what we are for.
If your budget is better spent on three exceptional nights than six ordinary ones, we will say so.
We do not offer package tours. Every journey is designed individually.

How LIME works
The same person from your first enquiry until you are home. Not a booking desk.
Independent of every lodge and hotel group. What we put in front of you is what we would book ourselves.
While you are travelling, out of hours, in four languages.
A limited number of journeys a year, so each one gets real attention.

“Our exclusive operator for South Africa — for many reasons, but above all the excellence of their people.”
