About us
Experience you can actually use.
An independent event and travel management company with offices in Durban and Amsterdam. Corporate events across Africa and Europe, and premium and luxury travel throughout Africa.
The company
With our offices located in two major travel hubs, we work across the entire globe. We are not restricted to any location: we have placed business from the US to Europe, to Africa and across to Asia — and we can work either side of the equator without limitation and a middleman.
Our team has lived and worked in Africa, in the US, in European cities and across Latin America. We work in Spanish, English, French and Italian.
We are independent — no parent company, no franchise, no network quota — and we take a limited number of programmes and journeys each year, because the senior people who design the work are the same people delivering it.
Some of our client relationships are more than a decade old. That is the number we would ask you to judge us on.
The founder’s note
A career spent on both sides of the table.

“I started working in luxury hotels, and that is where I learned what luxury actually means. Not marble and thread count — anticipation, and creating unique and lasting experiences. Knowing what someone needs before they ask.”
As an international sales manager I travelled the globe, selling one of Europe’s largest conference hotels to clients on every continent. Then I ran its events operation — from hundreds to thousands of delegates, several floors, everything happening at once. Later, as director of sales for an international destination management company, I delivered large-scale events and conference programmes across Europe.
I opened LIME in 2012 in Cape Town because I wanted to do that work my own way — for my own clients, to my own standards, without limitations for customers.
Between the travelling and the hotels, I have spent my career on both sides of the same table. I have sold the rooms, and I have slept in them. I know what a proposal promises and what actually arrives on the day; which venues hold up under pressure, which suppliers answer at midnight, which beautiful place will quietly disappoint you. You do not learn that from a site inspection — you learn it by being there, for years, on both sides.
“I have always loved to travel and to discover. What I love more is the moment someone realises the trip, or the event, turned out better than they had pictured it.”
