Prague
A thousand delegates
Full delegate management and programme delivery for a multinational software company. A relationship that has run for years, not a single booking.
1,300 delegates. Three days. Prague.
A global IT company brings its people together once a year. That year it meant 1,300 colleagues in Prague for three days — a full content programme of sessions on innovation and emerging technology, and running alongside it, a social programme that was the real point.
The brief was unusually clear. Most of these colleagues work together entirely online. The conference existed to change that: to put people in a room and keep them there long enough to become something more than names on a screen.
That shapes every decision. Rooms sized so the back row still feels part of it. Breaks long enough for a conversation to start. Dinners seated to mix teams rather than reunite them. Entertainment people take part in rather than watch.
Across three days, delegates moved between sessions, networking, dining and entertainment without a transition anyone had to think about. Getting that right is most of the work, and none of it is visible when it goes well.
The measure was in the room. By the third day, people were talking to colleagues they had never met in person before — and said so, at the end, without being asked.
